Communications

access2gov has been specifically established to assist the public sector and its service providers in working together to improve procurement efficiency and achieve a more effective Government.
Public sector organisations are increasingly looking to innovate and cast the net wider for solutions to the problems they face. Several have created internal innovation teams, but the ideas which emerge and the knowledge gained from their implementation are rarely shared beyond the organisation itself.
There is much being done by SMEs, larger firms and the Third Sector to apply emerging new technologies to solve real-world problems. Sometimes, these organisations pitch their solutions to the public sector, only to struggle to find the right decision-makers, or fall at procurement hurdles.
The main aim of access2gov is to narrow the gap between the public sector and its service providers by offering a comprehensive range of products and services from powerful business information and promotion to assistance and guidance for anyone involved in the public sector procurement process.
access2gov is part of the Ten Alps PLC group of companies. With over 600 unique publications, 104 websites, a range of e-books and specialist internet hosted sites, Ten Alps Communications sells, provides and manages factual content to every outlet that audiences and advertisers use – on line, on TV and in print, with over 61,000 advertisers across our output.
Our roots are in contract publishing, providing magazines, directories and guides for Central and Local Government clients across health, utilities, transport, construction, commerce, finance, leisure, education and information technology.
We have offices in Macclesfield, London, Gateshead, Edinburgh, Fareham and Manchester where our access2gov operation is based.
